Apartment renovations complete phases 6 and 7 of public housing authority’s multi-year plan.

Our sixth and seventh projects in a multi-year plan to renovate and increase the Columbia Missouri Housing Authority’s housing stock, Bryant Walkway Apartments I and II included the renovation of 15 apartment buildings and new construction of one apartment building, comprising 54 units and bringing the multi-project total to 622 new or renovated units. Exterior improvements included new stairs on some buildings, canopies, windows, vinyl siding, soffits, fascia, gutters, and sheds. Sitework included new exterior sewer connections from the buildings to the existing sewer mains, sidewalks and parking areas to meet ADA requirements, resealed parking lots, and some new retaining walls. Interior gut rehabs included removal of existing concrete slabs and installation of new underground plumbing and concrete, new electric, HVAC, plumbing and plumbing fixtures, drywall, paint, flooring, doors, stairs, cabinets, and appliances. 3 units were rebuilt to meet ADA requirements, and 11 units were rebuilt for accessibility.
