Coffee house/cafe is a milestone of revitalization for this St. Louis suburb.

Elsewhere, it might be just another coffee house/café, but in Pagedale, one of St. Louis’ poorest suburbs, the 24:1 Coffee House/Cafe might be the first of its kind. Part of the multi-year Page Avenue Town Center redevelopment initiative, 24:1 Coffee House/Cafe is one of several “first in a very long time” establishments new to Pagedale, such as a grocery store, a bank, and a movie theater. This project consisted of three tenant fit-outs in an existing mixed-use building.  A larger space was divided into the coffee shop/cafe and a separate office, and a smaller space was also built out into an office.  Scope consisted of demolition, sandblasting, masonry restoration and tuckpointing, waterproofing, below slab plumbing and electrical, interior and exterior flatwork, new RTUs and ductwork, steel stud framing and drywall, new storefront glass, interior/exterior painting, grading and asphalt paving/striping.
