Redevelopment of historic wire factory brings loft apartments and office space to Lafayette Square.

Located in St. Louis’ historic Lafayette Square neighborhood, the WireWorks Lofts project involved the conversion of the historic Western Wire Products buildings into 80 market rate loft apartments and business spaces. Financed using historic preservation tax credits and Federal Housing Administration financing, the renovation included masonry restoration, interior sandblasting for loft look, all new MEP systems, elevator, roof, historic windows, and finishes. Sitework included all new utilities, parking lots, fencing, and patio.
