E.M. Harris Construction Company has begun renovation of the historic 209-unit Castle Park Apartments in St. Louis County. The development involves moderate rehab as well as significant exterior work to preserve the historic character of the building which was originally built as a hospital for people with mental illness.
The project’s owner, Community Housing II, LLC, an affiliate of Monroe Group Ltd., based in Denver, Colorado, utilized state and federal historic and low income tax credits to finance the renovation.
